| What is the Defensive Driving Course? | ||||
The Defensive Driving Course of the National Safety Council's Driver Improvement Program is a classroom presentation supported by films and other visuals. The crash-avoidance techniques so graphically illustrated are based on the Standard Accident Prevention formula of professional drivers "driving to save lives, money and time in spite of the conditions around you and the actions of others." The course is taught by instructors certified by the National Safety Council. A Certification of Completion is awarded at the end of the course. |
